"Vostochnyi Kvartal"was founded in March 1999 right in the center of Moscow (on the Old Arbat). The interior was restored by Uzbek masters who created an original encyclopedia of oriental decor. It recreates the atmosphere of homy Uzbek patio with soft sofas and pillows, pitchers and lyagans brought from Tashkent. Scrumptious Uzbek cuisine, hospitality and quite democratic prices – these are the main working principles of our restaurant.
The visiting cardof "Vostochnyi Kvartal" is definitely Uzbek pilaw cooked by third generation cooks. Alongside with meat courses we offer our guests a wide variety of vegetable salads, fresh greens, pickles and side dishes. "Vostochnyi Kvartal" is nearly the only place in Moscow where one can try Central Asiatic kazy or lagman-soup.
Hospitalityis the main feature of "Vostochnyi Kvartal". For us hospitality means to wine and dine our guests in а perfect style to capture their hearts. In fact hospitality is a part of Uzbek culture.
Cooking is a process we are totally devoted, a process we are constantly polishing up. And we have much to be proud about our cooking.
We are skilledin the arrangement of nonofficial festivities and business meetings alike. We do our best to keep "Vostochnyi Kvartal" the flawless place to celebrate an anniversary or staff party. We can wine and dine up to 80 guests at the same time.
But the main peculiarityabout "Vostochnyi Kvartal" is that we put much value upon our efficient team of high-skilled cooks, waiters and managers who work with devotion and inspiration. That is why we have no doubts that you’ll find our restaurant one of the best places to eat and drink in Moscow.
